*UPDATE - 8th January 2025: As of right now (and for the foreseeable future) I have reduced my commission prices by up to 25% to try and make them perhaps more affordable for people. All prices below now show the price after the reduction. I am also going to open all prices up for reasonable negotiation from you. Ultimately, I love to draw and I love to create personal drawings for you to hang on your walls and cherish forever or for you to gift to family and friends.

This is just a guide and your requirements will be discussed to see what sizes and prices are best for you depending on what you want in your drawing.

Generally speaking, drawings are done on sizes from A5 to A2. I will usually recommend that no more than 1 subject (portrait/head) be drawn on A5 and A4, no more than 3 subjects (portrait/heads) on A3 and no more than 5 subjects (portrait/head) on A2. Some papers are classified in inches rather than the A sizes that we are used to here in the UK. Below is a list of A sized paper and the sizes in centimetres and inches and also US paper sizes which are measured in inches. I can accommodate all of the sizes below.

Coloured pencils generally take longer than Graphite pencils. This is reflected in the price differences below.

Commission Enquiries

Please note that every commission is drawn on a first come, first served basis and you will be added to the waiting list once a 25% non-refundable deposit has been paid to secure your place on the waiting list, unless there are extraordinary circumstances that prevent me from completing your portrait. In such cases, I will gladly issue a full refund. I will confirm with you prior to payment of the deposit how long the waiting list is and a rough guide as to when you can expect your drawing to be started. As mentioned, on average I would expect a drawing to take a minimum of 6 weeks from the start of the drawing until the end of the drawing.

Keep in mind that postage costs are not included and will vary based on the size of the portrait and its destination. Rest assured, all portraits are sent through a reliable courier service with full tracking and insurance to ensure your peace of mind.

Once your portrait is finished I will ask for the remaining balance to be paid. Once I have received payment your drawing will be carefully wrapped and sent to you (or hand delivered if local to me) with love. The attention to detail and care put into the gift wrapping process ensures that your portrait is beautifully packaged, ready to be cherished and displayed. Whether it's a gift for yourself or a loved one, the presentation adds an extra touch of thoughtfulness and elegance to the overall experience. The wrapping materials and techniques are chosen with care, complementing the unique artwork inside. From the moment you receive your wrapped portrait, you can truly appreciate the time and effort and love that went into creating it.

Also, I will scan the finished drawing for my records prior to sending the finished drawing to you. This scan can also then be used if you would like to purchase Giclee Prints to gift to loved ones or friends.
